Episode 84: 80’s Food – Part I
Growing up in the 80’s, we had some of the most amazing food and snacks. After school, we’d get a bag of Cooler Ranch Doritos, a Hostess Chocolate Pudding Pie, and wash it all down with a Jolt cola. We would get home, play some Nintendo, and then burn the roof of our mouth on some molten-hot Totino’s Pizza Rolls. Dad would come home and we’d settle in for a TV Dinner of Salisbury steak, whipped potatoes, and peas and carrots. For desert, we’d re-burn the roof of our mouths on the cherry pie. Here’s part 1 of Latch-Key Dads talking about 80s food. Enjoy!
